i was on ebay looking for soccer cleats and i thought, "hmm, do ppl really sell guild wars money on ebay or is it all one big joke?" the $499.99 popped right out at me. i mean, heck, you could by a new computer and another copy of gw for that much!

You could buy quite a bit of guild wars gold with that much money, based on the ads that used to pop up in these forums, probably a couple million at that. I think that would easily buy a 'godly crystalline sword' or 2... or 20.

Anyway, whereas people TRY to find loopholes, this one's a direct violation of the EULA.

Accounts are non-transferable, whether you're selling time spent or not.

If you had $500 to spend you can pick one weapon from the following list:

Glock 22/23 .40 (or rough equivalent) ~$500
Remington 870 12 ga Shotgun and a few boxes of ammo ~$500
2-day intensive defensive handgun instruction at Front-Sight Academy in Nevada - includes free submachine gun session - ~500-$600
Guildwars Crystalline Sword (doesn't really exist except as pixels on a screen) - only good for an online video game ~$500

... tough choice....
